About RadAssist: intended use and limitations
What this tool is, what it is not, and who is responsible for the report.
- What it is
- RadAssist is a reporting aid for licensed physicians. It assembles report text from the scores, measurements and findings you enter or confirm, and applies published scoring rules to them.
- Not a medical device
- RadAssist is not an FDA-cleared or FDA-approved medical device. It does not process or analyze medical images, it does not diagnose, and it does not replace your judgment.
- Everything is a proposal
- Every value it transcribes from a pasted results panel, every category it computes and every recommendation it drafts is a proposal. You review and confirm each one before it enters a report, and you can change any of it.
- Your report, your responsibility
- You are responsible for the content of the final report. Read the generated text as you would a colleague's draft, and sign only what you agree with.
- Sources
- The calcium-score module follows the MESA percentile reference and the thyroid module follows ACR TI-RADS. The full citations appear at the foot of each tool.
Private clinical tool. Every sign-in attempt is recorded. No patient data is stored.
